Services - Metropolitan Forestry Services

We guarantee the highest quality plant health care services using a science-based approach to provide the best possible solution for your tree care needs.

Consulting

Is one of your trees shedding leaves when it should be growing them? Are little critters eating your favorite shrubs? Do you have a question about the growth rate and light requirements of that new tree you are considering? Are you new to the neighborhood and need some advice on caring for the trees and shrubs in your new yard? One of our Certified Arborists can visit your home and develop a personalized and comprehensive plan to keep your trees and shrubs healthy.

LANDSCAPE INVENTORIES

Our Arborist can identify, measure, assess health, and inventory all trees and shrubs on your property. This is very important for insurance purposes if destruction should occur from wind, fire, flood, or other disasters.

TREE VALUATION

inspecting the base of a tree

Should your trees be damaged or destroyed, tree and shrub appraisals may be important when dealing with insurance or IRS casualty loss claims. Our registered Consulting Arborist and Certified Arborists can appraise tree and shrub valuation following the guidelines established by the Council of Tree and Landscape Appraisers. We will be here when you need us.

CONSTRUCTION DAMAGE PREVENTION

To preserve trees during construction projects, it is important to be proactive and include a trained arborist in the planning process. MFS specializes in tree preservation ! Let us develop tree protection strategies and specifications for your project.

HAZARD TREE ASSESSMENT

Our Certified and Consulting Arborist are qualified to assess trees for hazards or failure potential. “No tree is safe” – is a healthy attitude to have as no one can be sure of conditions underground, the velocity or direction of the next wind storm or hidden defects in the tree. Our qualified arborists can evaluate visible conditions, species failure rates, possible targets, and make recommendations for corrective action.

LANDSCAPING

Whether you have questions on your existing landscape or would like to get an outside opinion on your future plans we could be of some service in offering you sound and educated advice.

We believe that nature is worth preserving. That's why we provide consultation services that evaluate both your needs as our customer as well as the best interest of the tree. Our goal is to find a solution that respects nature while accommodating our client's needs. Contact Us
